In collaboration with Hudson River Housing, the City of Poughkeepsie, and Scenic Hudson – along with volunteer assistance from Nubian Directions students – the Alliance designed and built a pocket park in downtown Poughkeepsie known as Mural Square Park. When completed, the space was used as a part of Poughkeepsie’s “First Friday’s” program.  The City of Poughkeepsie entered into a lease with Hudson River Housing to program the park.
